SNAPPED isn’t going anywhere!
Well, it looks like the first “SNAPPED event” may be over, but our government plans on continuing to attack those they are supposed to be helping. So, it will be up to us, the community to work towards the goals of community sustainability for all.
So, SNAPPED isn’t going anywhere, the site will remain up, and people can still access it for support and to give support, and we will continue to match people. As things evolve, so will the site. Keep an eye out for further updates!

Update
One day SNAPs delayed, the next day they are handing out half, the next day the USDA is telling states that did hand out foodstamps to take them back? Now a handful of democrats voted to end the government shutdown, which means SNAP benefits should return, but now healthcare prices are going to skyrocket.
Our government is not operating “for the people”, which means we “the community” are going to continue to have emergencies like this, and are going to have to rely on each-other through mutual aid and other kinds of support.
I thank everyone who has used this site to either support or request support, our community is stronger for it, and we will be here when the next emergency happens.
